Contact and correction reports

The contact form collects the report type, lesson or page, message, supporting source and optional reply email for the site's publisher. Reports are intended for private review and are not displayed as public comments. Services that process form submissions may also process request information for delivery and spam filtering.

The publisher can use your report to investigate a correction, answer a question or follow up using the email you provide. You may leave the email field blank. Do not include passwords or sensitive personal information. Reports remain in the inbox until removed by the publisher; no automatic deletion schedule is configured. To request deletion, use the form's Privacy request option and provide enough information to identify your report.

Document and photo scanning

Scan to quiz reads only the document or photo you select, or a photo you choose to capture. Text recognition and question drafting run on your device. The scanning feature does not upload your files or extracted text. Saved personal quizzes stay on this device for the active profile. Android uses temporary files while recognizing text and removes its scan working files afterward; the operating system or file picker may retain its own temporary copy.

Browser scanning downloads recognition software from jsDelivr and language data from the recognition engine's download service. These downloads send ordinary web request information, such as your IP address, to those services, but do not include your document or photo. You can review and edit recognized text before creating a quiz.

Your learning progress

Practice results, bookmarks, custom quizzes, language and sound preferences are stored on your device. Browser progress uses this website’s local storage. Clearing site data removes locally saved progress. Android and browser progress are separate unless you use an available account sync feature.

If you choose an available account or online-play feature, the information needed for that feature, such as your account details, learning progress, display name or quiz answers, is sent to its service. Guest practice does not require an account.

Online leaderboard

Supabase-enabled versions use Supabase Authentication and PostgreSQL for online quizzes. A guest receives a unique player ID stored securely on the device; an existing signed-in Supabase account can also be used. Your nickname, province, quiz answers, mastery, scores, highest quiz score and completed quiz count are stored online. Signed-in players can view rankings, names, provinces and leaderboard statistics. Daily, weekly and monthly rankings reset by Nepal time; all-time scores remain. Offline practice does not add public leaderboard XP. Disconnecting retains the saved identity; clearing app data or uninstalling can lose access without deleting the server records.

In Firebase-enabled versions, online play uses Google Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Cloud Functions. A guest account receives a unique player ID saved on your device. Your chosen nickname, province, quiz answers, mastery, score and completed quiz count are stored online. Your nickname, province and ranking are visible to other signed-in players. Clearing app data can lose access to your guest identity; it does not delete the online records. Disconnecting returns you to offline practice while keeping the saved guest identity. Offline practice results are not submitted to the competitive leaderboard.

Friend and classroom rooms

Room hosts choose a code, topic, question count and timer. Supabase stores room membership, quiz answers, server-measured answer times and results. Other members of the same room can see player nicknames, correct-answer totals and timing used to rank ties. A classroom teacher hosts without joining the student rankings. Room codes grant access to join before the quiz starts; share them only with intended participants. Access expires after 24 hours. Expiry does not automatically delete stored records; an expired room is deleted if its code is reused. Room scores do not add global leaderboard XP.

Advertising

The Android app supports Google AdMob. Website advertising, when enabled, uses Google AdSense. Ads are labeled and placed apart from quiz answers. An unavailable ad does not stop you playing.

Google and its advertising partners may process device or browser information, IP addresses, identifiers, cookies and interactions to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and, where permitted by your choices, personalize advertising. Learn how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services and read Google’s privacy policy.

Your ad choices

Where required, Google’s consent message asks for your choices. On Android, use More → Ad privacy choices when that option is available. Website privacy controls appear below when advertising is enabled and the relevant choices apply in your region. If a blocker prevents the controls from loading, check your browser settings and reload this page.

You can also manage Google ad preferences at My Ad Center. Browser cookie controls and Android advertising settings provide additional device-level choices.

Website delivery

When you visit this website, your browser sends ordinary web requests, including your IP address and browser information, to the services that host and deliver the website. Links to external sources open services with their own privacy practices.
