SochaaNaa!

About the learning library

Follow the sources.
Question the explanation.

SochaaNaa! connects Nepal learning notes with quizzes and reflection. The public reading room shares a selection of the same lessons available in the app.

Who publishes and writes these lessons?

This site is owned by Anish Nepal and published as SochaaNaa!. The original library does not record individual author or reviewer bylines, so we do not attribute it to a named historian or specialist.

The worked examples, source comparisons and explained practice questions added on were written by an AI assistant for SochaaNaa!. They are educational interpretations of the linked material. Hypothetical scenarios and invented numbers are labelled in the exercises.

Review status: the new exercises received an AI-assisted source comparison and consistency check during preparation. An independent human subject-specialist review has not been recorded. The linked institutions are sources, not authors, reviewers or endorsers of this website.

How this edition was prepared

  1. Start with the existing lesson and identify a reasoning skill it can teach.
  2. Compare the relevant institutional descriptions, museum records or research information. Keep a source's claims distinct from our interpretation, and distinguish project objectives from completed results.
  3. Write a worked example, identify what the sources cannot establish, and explain the answers to the practice questions.
  4. Check that lessons and explanations can be read without an account or JavaScript, that internal links work, and that the layout fits phones and larger screens.

These checks do not establish historical expertise, a field visit or independent peer review. When a source is incomplete or a claim remains uncertain, follow the underlying publication and treat that limitation as part of the lesson.

Using the references

Lessons link to their supporting sources next to the relevant sections and in a further-reading list. These include heritage organisations, museums and other named publishers. A reference provides context for a claim; it is not an endorsement of this website.

The lesson explanations, examples, takeaways and reflection questions help readers connect the material. They are learning aids and are not primary historical documents. Follow the linked publication when you need the underlying evidence or more detail.

Dates and uncertainty

The library records a review date of 2026-09-22. Republishing a lesson does not refresh that date. An ancient site, its surviving structures and the events remembered there may all have different dates. Religious traditions and disputed chronologies should be understood in their stated contexts.

When something looks wrong

Check the source alongside the exact lesson passage. A useful correction identifies the lesson title, the claim, a proposed correction and a supporting reference. Until an uncertainty is resolved, use the source directly and avoid treating the quiz answer as the final authority.

Send a correction or question

Reports go privately to the site's publisher through its website form. Sending a report does not automatically change a lesson. A correction should be checked against the cited evidence before publication; substantial published changes should be recorded here with their dates.
